What is it?
Plasma skin tightening, is a new and revolutionary treatment that can be used all over the face and body.
This innovative technology utilises plasma – formed through ionisation of atmospheric gasses – to stimulate instant contraction and tightening of skin fibres.
This technology does not use scalpel or laser to remove excess skin, thereby avoiding all risks inherent to the traditional intervention. The treatment is performed without cutting, burning or removing excess skin or fat.
What's it like?
The treatment is performed hovering a tip 1-2 mm away from the skin causing a flash that lightly touches the skin for 1 second the tip moves leaving minute spots and small gaps between which will allows for immediate contraction of the skin.
there is not damage to surrounding tissue or the ones beneath.
A typical session will last approx 30 minutes though this time will vary depending on area being treated. the first treatment although some may require more than one treatment and this is subject to your personal expectation.
Patients may experience some swelling and mild discomfort in the treated area following your treatment and this may last up to three days. Any residual crustations will resolve within 5-7 days, we will cover everything at consultation before the treatment.

CACI – Computer Aided Cosmetology Instrument and is a micro current machine that uses specific waveforms and ultra-low frequencies to transmit tiny electrical signals to boost muscle tone and skin tissue. In short, it works in harmony with the body’s own bio-electrical field to help improve skin tone, texture and face shape by using a series of electrical pulses to stimulate the 32 muscles in your face.
Think of it as a gym workout for your visage.
What's it like?
During the treatment, a therapist will run cotton-covered prongs over your skin to manipulate and train the muscles. Each set of movement will target the muscles that tend to lose tone with age.
Add the Ultra part for an additional cost
This includes a slight peel like microdermabrasion to really exfoliate your skin, the wrinkle comb. The comb has five or six needle-like prongs which are even spaced and, when applied, dip into your skin along the areas that fine lines tend to form – for me this is along the my mouth and my eyes, Plumping up wrinkles and stimulating collagen growth.

What is it?
Acid peels have been around for ages, they’re one of the most tried and tested ways to improve your skin health. There are several types of acid peels which are offered routinely by dermatologists and cosmetic doctors; salicylic acid, mandelic acid and glycolic acid which is perfect for the treatment of fine lines, dullness and uneven skintone.
All of these peels can be very gentle. With a glycolic peel, the first two times you have a treatment you will have a very low percentage of glycolic acid (normally 20 percent) so that your skin can build up a resistance, then this increases to 35 percent and if necessary 50 percent for the final peel.
glycolic acid peels will not leave you with scorched, raw skin. The whole process is gentle, quick and easy.
“Glycolic peels are suitable for most people, even those without a specific concern and what’s more you don’t need to have any downtime. Peels have moved on so much you can have a very controlled peel without having to look like a beetroot for days.”
The first thing it does is exfoliate away the tough, dull, dead layer of skin, it also manages to penetrate through that layer and actually rejuvenate and regenerate the skin cells underneath. So typically you will get two benefits; the exfoliation as well as the rejuvenation which is helpful for things like fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone and blemishes.
The main incentive people have for getting a course of glycolic peels is to improve on what they’ve got. It makes skin looks its best. A lot of people just want to look better, they want to look that much fresher, more plump, more glowing and that’s what is so great about glycolic peels. Even you don’t have any specific issues for treatment or concerns you can still benefit from the treatment because it gives you a much clearer appearance of the skin.
It’s the deep exfoliation which lifts away lack lustre skin, allowing a younger, clearer complexion to shine through.
What's it like?
Before your first treatment your practitioner will assess your skin and your primary concerns and will then prescribe a course of treatment.
You have to prepare your skin pre-treatment by using a our JL exfoliating cleanser with a low percentage of glycolic.
In the treatment your face is cleansed of make up and then the glycolic solution is applied to your skin for up to five minutes.
While the solution is on your skin you can feel a very light tingle which gradually increases. In no way was it painful or uncomfortable and before you know it your practitioner is neutralising the solution.
Once it has been removed your skin is treated to a light SPF moisturiser. The whole process takes ten minutes and your skin is glowing and slightly pink. Other than that you’re good to go back to work.
Dermaplanning

What's it good for?
Skin Brightening
removes the fine hair, or peach fuzz, from the skin, helps makeup rest better on the skin.
Exfoliating the top layer of skin helps improve its texture.
Removes areas of roughness or scaliness.
Reduces the appearances of wrinkles and scars on the skin.
Myths About Dermaplaning
Some people worry that dermaplaning will make the hair on their face grow back thicker or more noticeable. That misconception stems from the myth that shaving increases hair growth. Fortunately, that’s not true. Peach fuzz is created by vellus hairs, which are short and fine and will remain short and fine. If the treatment does remove thicker hair, such as beard hair or eyebrow hair, that hair will grow back just as thick as it was before.
What is Dermaplanning?
Dermaplanning is a safe and highly effective physical exfoliation procedure. It requires the use of a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently “shave” the skin’s surface, removing the top-most layer of dead skin along with fine, vellus hair (aka peach fuzz)
It may sound simple, but the results last, Because this procedure removes up to 3 weeks of dead skin cells that have accumulated (excuse us while we make an appointment immediately!) the results last up to 4 weeks. Now, if you have a good daily maintenance you can prolong the results for up to 6 months!
What happens during the treatment?
One the surface, dermaplaning looks a bit like shaving. Your therapist will use a surgical blade to remove the skin cells and fine hairs from the surface. She will hold the blade at a 45-degree angle and gently pulls it across the skin, which is held taut.
While the treatment is typically safe for pregnant or breastfeeding women, it’s not appropriate for all skin types. For example, if you are currently breaking out, it’s better to postpone dermaplaning until your skin has cleared. Dermaplaning is suitable for the forehead and cheeks, but not for the nose or eye area, as the skin in those areas is more delicate.
While it won’t do much for those deeper wrinkles, it can eliminates the fine wrinkles that begin to develop over time. The wrinkle is actually removed (yes, removed!) from the skin, creating the appearance of a smooth complexion. The results can last up to 6 months.
There is no down time with this procedure, Facial procedures can often leave a girl with several days of downtime, but that is not the case with dermaplaning. In fact, the only side effect is smoother skin.
